Carrying on with our series of The Many Faces of Roommates, and just in time for spring cleaning season, we give you the SLOB.
Now, before we start singling anybody out or pointing fingers, let’s all just nod and admit that we’ve all had our moments (or days, or months, or years) where we’ve been a slob. I’ll be the first to admit that when I make coffee in the morning, I am notorious for leaving the spoon on the side of the sink just incase I want a second cup of coffee and don’t want to dirty another spoon, even though I never have a second cup of coffee. Ever.
The slob, in general, is someone who is generally incapable of putting things away after they use them (dishes, towels, DVD’s, etc.) and someone who shows little to no remorse about it. There are two types of slobs, those who keep their mess in their bedroom (bless their souls) and the types that just drag their slobbiness throughout the house like a slug trail.
If you or someone you live with is guilty of this title, go ahead and tag them (if you’re brave enough), because everybody loves a passive aggressive reminder to pick up after themselves!
