Three of which are located in the ultra-glamorous Bay Area (San Jose, San Fran and Oakland) and yet another three were located in SoCal (The OC, Ventura County and San Diego), additionally Sacramento and New York, which are also known to be quite pricey. The only two metros where renting beats buying outright are Honolulu, Hawaii and San Jose, California — which happen to be two of the most expensive places in the world. So if you’re looking to buy, have a look at some of these stats, it might make your decision a bit easier.
